Sam Hoffmeier grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. At age twenty-two, he and a friend started a diamond cutting coring company, KC Coring. This company grew to service thirteen cities. At age forty, with an annual income of over one million dollars, Sam was approached by God and Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
At that time, Sam was married with three children. He had just been appointed president of the Builders Association in Kansas and Missouri. What God and Jesus asked of Sam was to give away every penny that he had and be available for them to place. Due to Sam’s actions, there was a separation of family, business, and friends.
Sam has been in the inner city of Kansas City for the past eighteen and a half years. This book, “The Trial of Jesus Christ” is the result of his interaction with God and Jesus for that period of time.
In his book, Sam clearly describes the challenges Jesus put before His disciples, why today is the day to reconsider that challenge, and what that picture looks like in today's society
